The Doomsday Discs Oxymoron is not here to behave, follow rules, or pretend that square discs are a normal life choice. This thing is a weird little chaos machine built for casual rounds, field work laughs, content clips, and the pure joy of watching your cardmates say, “Wait... what did that just do?”
Important: The Oxymoron is not PDGA approved. Its square shape keeps it out of sanctioned tournament play, which is honestly kind of the whole point. This is not your serious league-night workhorse. This is the disc you throw when the scorecard has already betrayed you and the goblin voice says, “Send the square one.”
In flight, expect the unexpected. The square shape can create strange lift, odd turn, weird rise, and unpredictable movement that a normal round disc simply does not have. Sometimes it glides. Sometimes it climbs. Sometimes it reminds you that physics has a sense of humor and it is laughing directly at you.
Plastic Feel: Doomsday's Oxymoron runs are made to be thrown, experimented with, and enjoyed as novelty chaos. The underside has a more familiar rounded inner rim than you would expect, but let’s be honest: it is still a square disc. Normal left the building a long time ago.
Best Uses:
- Casual rounds where the rules are more of a suggestion
- Field work, trick shots, and ridiculous flight experiments
- Content clips, league laughs, and “you have to try this” moments
- Players who think predictable discs are emotionally limiting
Real Talk: Do not buy this because you need a dependable fairway driver. Buy it because disc golf should be fun, dumb, weird, and occasionally shaped like a bad decision. The Oxymoron is not legal. It is not normal. It is absolutely BDLD-approved chaos.
