The Discraft Nuke is a 13 | 5 | -1 | 3 distance driver for people who look at a perfectly reasonable fairway driver and think, “Yeah, but what if we added more violence?”

This thing is built to cover serious ground when you've got the arm to get it moving, with enough turn to push forward and enough fade to make sure the flight doesn't end in complete anarchy.

Flight

At 13 speed, the Nuke is not screwing around. It wants power, speed, and a committed release.

The 5 glide helps it keep carrying once it's moving, while the mild -1 turn gives stronger throwers enough movement to stretch the flight instead of immediately dumping out.

Then the 3 fade shows up at the end with a firm, dependable finish.

For bigger arms, that combination can produce long controlled distance with a strong finish. For slower arms, expect the Nuke to behave considerably more overstable—which is disc golf's polite way of saying it will start fading before you've finished your follow-through.

Best Uses

  • Maximum-distance drives
  • Open fairways
  • Long hyzers
  • Power forehands
  • Forced flex lines
  • Moderate headwinds
  • Big-arm distance shots
  • Situations where subtlety has officially left the chat

BDLD Real Talk

It's called the Nuke. Discraft wasn't exactly being subtle with the naming department, and they probably figured ICBM was just a big TOO on the nose.

This isn't the disc we'd hand somebody on their first round and say, “Here, this should straighten everything out.” A 13 speed driver requires some ass behind it.

But when you've got the power to get it up to speed, the Nuke can absolutely bomb.

That -1 turn gives it enough movement to stretch out the flight, while the 3 fade keeps the whole operation from becoming an uncontrolled international incident.

Will buying a Nuke instantly add 100 feet to your drive? No.

We sell discs, not miracles—or enriched uranium.

But if you're ready for a fast, powerful distance driver that can handle some torque and still finish reliably, this bastard is ready for launch.

Bottom Line

The Discraft Nuke is a powerful 13 | 5 | -1 | 3 distance driver built for big distance, high-speed control, strong forehands, flex lines, and dependable finishes.

Arm the Nuke. Pick a target. Launch responsibly. Big Dudes Little Discs accepts no responsibility for neighboring fairways, or forgetting to yell FORE if you lose control of it.
