The Climo Discs Osprey in 5X Glow comes in at 10 | 6 | -3 | 1, which is basically an invitation to get some serious distance without needing a cannon for an arm.
Big glide, plenty of turn, and just enough fade to keep things from becoming complete anarchy.
Flight
At 10 speed, the Osprey sits in a very usable spot between fairway control and full-on distance-driver speed.
The massive 6 glide helps it stay airborne and keep pushing downrange, while the -3 turn makes it accessible for hyzer flips, long turnovers, and easier distance.
A mild 1 fade gives the flight a little finish without suddenly remembering it has somewhere else to be.
5X Glow
This 5X Glow edition makes the Osprey ready for nighttime bombing. Charge it up, put it on the right angle, and let all that glide do the work.
As an added benefit, when you absolutely launch the bastard into the darkness, it should be considerably easier to figure out which patch of Colorado wilderness now owns your disc.
Best Uses
- Hyzer-flip distance
- Long turnover shots
- Tailwind drives
- Open fairways
- Glow rounds
- Lower-power players looking for easier distance
- Experienced players needing an understable distance option
- Making 10-speed distance look suspiciously easy
BDLD Real Talk
10 | 6 | -3 | 1 tells you pretty much everything you need to know.
The Osprey wants to fly.
Give it some hyzer and let that -3 turn stand it up. Give it some height and let the 6 glide keep it moving. Then enjoy the gentle finish instead of watching a giant fade murder all the distance you just earned.
Will it magically turn a 250-foot arm into 450?
Nope.
We sell discs, not miracles.
But if high-speed overstable drivers keep falling out of the sky on you, the Osprey may be significantly more interested in actually helping.
Bottom Line
The Climo Discs Osprey 5X Glow is an understable 10 | 6 | -3 | 1 glow distance driver built for hyzer flips, long turnovers, big glide, and accessible distance.
Charge it. Flip it. Let the Osprey fly. Just remember that six glide works in the wrong direction too.
