The Prodigy F9 is an ultra-understable fairway driver built for easy distance, massive glide, and extreme turn. This is one of the flippiest discs in Prodigy’s lineup—on purpose.
Out of the hand, the F9 wants to flip up immediately, drift hard right (RHBH), and just keep carrying forward with very little fade at the end. It’s designed to make distance accessible for lower arm speeds and to give experienced players a tool for big turnover lines and rollers.
This is not a “control fairway” in the traditional sense—it’s a movement disc. You throw this when you want the disc to move, not when you want it to fight back.
In 500 plastic, you’re getting a premium feel with solid grip and durability, plus a touch more stability than baseline versions—but don’t get it twisted, this thing is still very flippy.
Best Uses
• Hyzer flip distance shots
• Long turnover lines
• Rollers
• Beginner-friendly distance
• Low-power glide shots
Real talk:
👉 This is VERY understable
👉 Lower arm speed → straight to turnover with tons of glide
👉 Higher arm speed → instant turn or roller
If you don’t have something this flippy in your bag, you’re missing a whole category of shots.
If you do have something this flippy… you already know—this thing is basically cheat code glide.
