The Kastaplast Idog is a stable, control-focused fairway driver built for clean lines and dependable finishes. With a touch of high-speed turn, it pushes forward before settling into a reliable fade—making it ideal for accurate placement shots and controlled distance. It bridges the gap between midrange control and fairway speed without feeling overly aggressive.
In K1 plastic, the Idog features Kastaplast’s premium blend with excellent durability and a slightly firm, clean feel. It maintains its flight characteristics over time and provides a consistent release for both backhand and forehand throws.
Best Uses
• Controlled fairway drives
• Straight-to-fade shots
• Hyzer flip lines
• Accurate placement shots
Real Talk
This is that “just trust it” fairway.
It’s got a little bit of push before the fade, which makes it more workable than a true 0 turn disc—but it’s still stable enough to rely on.
If your fairways are either too flippy or too beefy, this lands right in the middle and ends up being the one you reach for when you actually need to hit the line.
In K1 Glow plastic, the Idog uses a premium, durable blend with added glow and a slightly stiffer feel. It tends to come out a bit more overstable than standard K1, offering increased torque resistance and a stronger finish—especially useful in wind or when throwing with more power.
Best Uses
• Controlled fairway drives
• Straight-to-fade shots
• Wind-resistant lines
• Forehand control shots
Real Talk
This is the “lean on it harder” version of the Idog.
It still has that slight forward push, but the Glow plastic tightens things up—less drift, more finish. If K1 is your everyday fairway, this is the one you grab when you need it to hold up and not question your power.
