The Gateway Devilhawk is a low-profile, thumb-track putt and approach disc built for players who want their upshots to stop pretending they are understable. It has a bullet-shaped nose, a bead for extra stability, and enough overstability to make sketchy forehands feel like they finally got supervision.
This is the “get over there and sit down” putter. Great for short forehands, wind-fighting approaches, forced hyzers, and those moments when your cardmate says “just throw something flat” like the course is not actively trying to ruin your afternoon.
Best Uses:
- Overstable approach shots
- Short forehands with reliable fade
- Windy putts and controlled upshots
- Forced hyzers around trees that personally hate you
- Players who want thumb-track comfort with serious beef
- Keeping it weird, without MAKING it weird
Real Talk: The Devilhawk is not here to glide forever and write poetry. It is here to fly on command, fade hard, and make bad decisions look slightly more intentional. Very BDLD. Very useful. Mildly judgmental.
