The Discraft Terminator is not one of those discs. The Terminator comes at you on a Harley Fat Boy with a lever action and saves the day. 

With flight numbers of 12 | 5 | -1 | 3, the Terminator is a fast, stable-to-overstable distance driver built for power, long controlled distance, flex lines, and dependable finishes. It has enough turn to keep the flight moving forward, enough glide to cover serious ground, and enough fade to make sure the ending is not up for debate.

Flight

The 12 speed puts the Terminator firmly into distance-driver territory. This is not the disc you hand to somebody on their second round and say, “Just throw it harder.” It wants real arm speed, a clean release, and enough commitment to let the mold actually reach its intended flight.

The 5 glide gives it useful carry once it gets moving. The Terminator is not just a blunt-force overstable driver; it has enough glide to stretch the middle of the flight and produce real distance before the fade takes over.

The -1 turn gives stronger throwers a touch of high-speed movement, helping the disc push forward rather than immediately locking onto a hyzer angle. On a flat release, that can translate into a long, penetrating flight. Put it on anhyzer and the Terminator can carve controlled flex lines before fighting back.

The 3 fade is where the name starts making sense. The finish is strong, dependable, and not particularly interested in compromise. Once the low-speed portion of the flight begins, the Terminator wants to come back and finish with authority.

The Terminator is not here to negotiate.

That does not mean it is an unusable meat hook. The -1 turn gives it enough movement to create real distance, especially for stronger arms, but the 3 fade means the disc is always carrying a backup plan.

For power throwers, that makes it a strong candidate for the workhorse stable-driver slot: flat shots that push, flex lines that fight back, and forehands that need enough torque resistance to stay useful.

For developing players, the Terminator may fly significantly more overstable than the numbers suggest. If you are not generating enough speed to access the turn, you are probably going to see a lot of straight-for-a-minute-then-hard-left. That's not the disc malfunctioning. That's physics being irritatingly consistent again.

So no, this is probably not your effortless beginner distance driver.

But if you have the arm for it?

It absolutely will be back.
